This is determined by the threshold.
For external doors, we would recommend a weathered threshold as it has a small lip to create a weather tight seal, the track can be sunk into the floor so it leaves a small upstand of under 1cm.
Non-weathered thresholds have no lip and are usually used internally or in a sheltered area.
They can be installed to be completely flush, however, they do not have the same high weather test results as our weathered threshold.

Our unique 8 point locking system is combined with secure hinges and includes chamfered 20mm linear bolts to withstand attacks from even the most determined intruder.
One point of weakness can be the locking cylinder/barrel.
At Origin, our cylinders on our bi fold doors are proven to protect against snapping, picking, drilling and bumping. Thus offering a proven defence that is second to none.
All of this, on top of the innately robust and strong aluminium profile, makes for an ultra-secure bifold door system.
